How do seminary prepare seminarian? There are lots of rules for training seminarians such as praying, timetable, for routine, community life, etc. But the main training is 4 pillars; spiritual, intellectual, community, and apostolic. I am going to tell about my vocation with these 4 pillars. My spiritual is praying to god every day. For example, praying in the morning, in the evening, before go to bed, going to mass. I think my spiritual is not well, because sometimes I slept during the mass and sometimes I did not pay attention with my prayer. But, I try to return from these bad action. Sometimes, I did something wrong, I went to confess my sins to priest once a month. Next is about my intellectual, I think I have industry for studying. I often get up early in the morning for preparing my homework and studying by myself. I think I am not good at intellectual, but I study hard and do all my homework. Some subjects I am not good I will try to understand by asking my friends and teachers. The important subject of mine is English and it will be useful in the future. And priest should able to speak English. The third pillar is community. I can be with others at seminary, school, and society. We live together we should help each other. I can help others for something that I can and others often help me, too. We must love one another like Jesus thought us. I try to be in community life such as working, studying, eating, activities, etc. These things I must be in community and do not be alone. The last pillar is apostolic. This is taking care others and telling The Good New to others. I am only a small seminarian, so, I cannot do like a priest. But, I can do something that I can. I can be a good pattern for everyone in my daily life. I can bring my experience in seminary to do at my church when I go back home. And can show to young people to follow our Lord Jesus Christ. I can play the guitar and sing the Church songs, so it can be telling some good new to children and others. Although, I cannot do my 4 pillars well, but I will do my best. These are my 4 pillars at seminary and home.
