Tracking number
I am expecting a parcel but I do not have my parcel tracking number. What should I do?
Unfortunately we are not able to track your parcel without the tracking number. Please contact the sender of the parcel for the tracking number.
Status information
My parcel tracking results indicate that my parcel has been ‘delivered’ but I have not received my parcel. What should I do?
To ensure the safe delivery of your parcel, we need a signature to confirm successful delivery. If there is nobody to receive the parcel, the driver will either deliver the parcel to a neighbour or take your parcel to be securely held at the local Post Office or depot.
The driver will have left a card indicating the location of your parcel. Please follow the instructions on that card.
Not at home notification
I have missed delivery of my parcel(s). What should I do?
The driver will have left a notification card with a parcel reference number on it. You can find out where your parcel is using this number.
I have received a notification card with a reference number on it. What do I do next?
To arrange a redelivery of your parcel(s), please follow the instructions on the card.
Transit Times
When will my parcel be delivered?
This depends on the delivery arrangements made by the sender of your parcel. The PostNL international sorting centre’s transit times are published on the website.
Why do the tracking results indicate that my parcel in a different country than the country I sent it to? What should I do?
You do not need to do anything. It is normal for parcels to certain countries to be transported through intermediate countries. To show you the complete process and to let you know that your parcel is safe, we track your parcel through each of these intermediate countries.
Service
Can my parcel be delivered to a neighbour’s house?
If the sender of your parcel has not requested a signature for your delivery, our driver can attempt to leave your parcel at a neighbour’s house and will leave a notification card to let you know where the parcel has been delivered.
If the sender of your parcel has requested a signature, our driver may, for your convenience, attempt to deliver the parcel to a neighbour’s house if you are not in. In this case, our driver will leave a card at your address to let you know where the parcel has been delivered.
If the sender of your parcel stipulates that the parcel can only be delivered to the specified address, our drivers are unable to leave parcels with a neighbour. In these situations, a notification card will be left at your address so you can follow further instructions.
What identification documents do I need to pick up my parcel?
For security reasons, we ask that you bring the notification card and an ID (e.g. a passport or driving licence).
Contact
