The relationship between vectors and points (elementary objects and curves)
Point and vectors are equivalent. There is no differentiation.
Example : (2P + 3Q) / 5 means a point given by the 3 : 2 division of the segment PQ.
x coordinate of the point P is P.x, and y coordinate is P.y.
Example : Let P = (2, 3), in this case, P.x = 2, P.y = 3.
the radius of circle: the radius of the circle P is P.r.
If two elementary objects are written in juxtaposition, this is recognized as a displacement vector.
Example: the expression PQ means the vector PQ. The arrow will be shown in the calculator.
Of course, the vector PQ is equal to Q - P.
[PQ] means the length of the segment PQ.
You can input x and y coordinates without decomposing to their components.
Check the check box [Use Vectors] at the Properties window after selecting a figure type.
Example: when an elementary object such as point A is the middle point of B and C, input (B + C) / 2.
