preparation Different forms of Zingiber officinalis rhizomes (fresh ginger,dried ginger- DG and powder dried ginger- PDG) were purchased from the local market.Fresh ginger was washed, cleaned, cuted intosmall pieces and air-dried (FDG) under constant weight. FDG andDG samples (obtained after a natural shade drying process) werefurther reduced to a fine dried powder for subsequent analyses.
