If there are no (reliable) statistics available, think of different ways of collecting data on the
prevalence of substance or illicit drug use in your school and community. Select the most
feasible method and assess the number of youth using tobacco, alcohol and other substances
in your school. You can also broaden the scope of your research and collect information
on, for example, the number of adults using substances in your school and community, or
on the attitudes, values and beliefs related to substances and substance use among youth in
