Oral Health Impact Profile-49 (OHIP-49), which has been used to measure OHRQoL in populations wear-ing RDPs (11). However, few studies have assessed the complications associated with RDPs as well as the patients’ OHRQoL. Despite the general improvement in OHRQoL after treatment with RDPs, the opposite effect can be observed for some patients (10). The objectives of this study were to measure and describe OHRQoL and to identify the complications caused by partial removable dental prosthesis (RDPs) in patients 1–5 years after treatment.
