The Future of ELT in Thailand
As we have stated at the beginning of this article, we are not aiming to provide solution on the discussed issue. Rather, we would like to raise the critical consciousness in ELT in Thailand. It is not uncommon for us to end this article with more questions for Thai teachers and educators to find solutions. We also think that English teaching should not be encapsulated and taken for granted into solely in classrooms; teachers and educators need to take into consideration the social aspects of language teaching and learning.
