Can we take another look at your comment concerning the Stainless steel wire brushes –
“we are reluctant to remove the packaging in the warehouse and believe this should be enforced and monitored by the CUEL Supervision in the Sub-Contractor Piping Shop”
To ensure full control of the brushes I think they should be properly identified by CUEL warehouse with yellow marking before being issued for use on stainless steel. This would mean we only have to monitor identification in the one location rather than having to chase all over LCB to verify compliance. We tried the same approach at EMCO Workshop on site and it did not work well.
Gents your thoughts will be appreciated.
