This paper proposed one improved control system that
enhances conventional V/F system performance including: dead
time compensation, stator voltage compensation and oscillation
damper. All these schemes are based on stator voltage oriented
current transformation, thus this method avoids complex vector
transformation and is easy to implement. The experimental
results demonstrate this method could reduce stator current
distortion and improve low frequency performance effectively.
The system has been applied to an actual inverter driving
induction motor.
