Mid-Year Review is an important part of the Performance Management Process which provides ongoing feedback and coaching to subordinates. It is a structured, informal, two-way discussion between manager and employee that reviews goal, KPIs and individual performance from the first half of the year and identifies priorities and sets plans for the second half of the year to ensure goals/KPIs will be achieved at the end of the year.
The objective of Mid-Year-Review
• Highlights progress against the employee’s Individual KPI or objectives, growth and Personal Development Plan.
• Highlights achievements and results from the first half of the year as well as challenges and opportunities for improvement.
• Clarifies and confirms goals and priorities for the second half of the year.
• Reinforces the priorities of the department and organization and ensures that individual goals are aligned with these priorities.
Please if you could fill out the mid-year review for yourself and send it back to me before 27 June?
I will then schedule to sit down with each of you before the deadline.
