Electrolytic conduction
Electrolytic solution contains free ions
Electrolysis = when an electrical potential is applied to
the system there is a flow of current and decomposition
of the solution occurs
Electrolytic conduction = charge is carried by ions and
only occurs when ions in the electrolyte can move freely;
i.e. molten salts or aqueous solutions
