Real Estate Show Myanmar 2015
About the Conference
The Myanmar Urban Development Conference series will be returning to Yangon for the third time in 2015. Rebranded as the Real Estate Show Myanmar (RESM), the country's only Real Estate & Urban Build platform will be taking place from 3 - 5 August 2015.
The 2014 edition brought together close to 200 decision makers from 10 different countries with the same goal of understanding what opportunities Myanmar has to offer. We had the honour of having H.E. U Kyaw Lwin, Union Minister for Construction, H.E. U Set Aung, Chairman, Thilawa SEZ Management Committee andH.E. U Hla Myint, Mayor of Yangon grace the event as guests-of-honour. We saw during the event the local developers' keen interest in the development of the domestic retail scene, matching that of international brands like Kentucky Fried Chicken, L'Oreal and Timberland.
Leveraging the success of RESM 2014, RESM 2015 will continue to expound the retail angle, whilst retaining focus on real estate, as well as urban and city planning. The brand new RESM 2015, incorporating the Retail and Myanmar Urban & City Planning tracks, will be platform which provides more networking face time, facilitating both the local and international communities to come together to holistically address the opportunities and challenges facing Myanmar today.
