Note: the phase shift shall have different signs on the two slopes of the filter b shaped curve
- Once the measurements are completed, plot the results in two graphs showing the Attenuation and Phase characteristics of the filters as a function of the frequency. Preferably use log-log graph paper or use a log scale for the horizontal axis (frequency) and calculate the Attenuation in decibels.
- On the graphs determine the filter Center Frequency, the -3dB frequency points and the filter Bandpass
- Repeat the recording of Attenuation and Phase characteristics for the two extreme positions of the frequency adjustment knob P1 (i.e. e. fully counterclockwise minimum frequency and fully clockwise maximum frequency)
- Compare the shapes of the Attenuation characteristic obtained for the three selected knob positions (minimum, mid-way, maximum)
