2.4. Data analysis procedure
Descriptive statistics, chi-square test, t- test were used for assessing the self-reported sexual behavior of Korean college students. Preliminary data analyses, including descriptive statistics and Spearman rank correlations, were performed with SPSS 12.0 (SPSS, Chicago, IL). Listwise deletion was performed due to the low missing rate (6.88%). There were no significant differences in age, gender, grade, family income, and initiating sexual behavior between missing group (n ¼ 22) vs. the nonmissing group (n ¼ 298). Therefore, 165 male and
133 female students were included for final data analysis. To examine gender differences in correlation coeffi- cients, the Fisher r to z Transformation was performed.
