You have to wonder how the artists at Thumb Art Studios in northern Bangkok sleep at night.
All day long they work making frightening-looking dead bodies or terrifying zombies or huge monsters for movies and advertisements.
Kongkrit “Gai” Thongdee has been doing this for eight years. How does he get his ideas?
“I’ve had to look at a lot of dead bodies. Or photos of them at least," he says.
Rattapong “Beer” Yenjai, Gai's co-worker, admits it is scary work.
“We never stay in here [the studio] alone, and we always try to go home before dark,” Beer says. “It’s scary in here after dark with all this stuff around.”
