In Fig. 2, the dash lines describe the actual output profiles
generated by using our approach. As it can be observed, the
system output is tracking adequately the desired references.
Similar simulation is implemented for the MTPA approach
with the trapezoidal speed profile. The results are represented
by the dash line in Fig. 3. The difference between the simulation
results presented in Figure 2 and Figure 3 is also detailed
in Tables II-IV with different values for the prediction horizon.
Tables II describes the tracking error of the reference speed
profiles using both MPC and MTPA approaches. Also, table
III and table IV illustrate the errors of the rotor speed, i.e.,
