2.5. Particle size distribution
Particle size distributions were determined in the range 0.1–1000 lm by laser scattering using a Particle Analyzer (Malvern Mastersizer 2000E, Malvern Instruments Ltd, UK).Liposomal suspensions were diluted in 500 mL of distilled water.
The dispersion was carried out at 2000 rpm and the degree of obscuration was between 10% and 15%. Sauter mean diameter(D3,2) and De Brouker mean diameter (D4,3) are the mean diameters from the surface and volume distributions, respectively, and they were defined before (Marsanasco et al., 2011).
