The barbel muscle protein hydrolysate (H3), obtained with a DH
of 6.6%, was fractionated on a Sephadex G-25 gel filtration chromatography.
As reported in Fig. 2a, there are six major absorbance
peaks (FIeFVI) at 226 nm. Fractions associated with each peak were
collected, concentrated by lyophilisation and then evaluated for
antibacterial activity.
