The purpose of this survey research were to identify smoking behavior, to invertigate factors influencing smoking and to investigate factors relating to smoking behavior of student in chiang rai rajabhat university. Subjects including 420 students were recruited. Data were collected with a questionnaire, In addition, data was analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standart deviation and chi – square
The results were found : The smoking behavior of student in chiang rai rajabhat university were no smoking. Most of the smoking student started smoking from 11 – 15 years old, they were consumed cigarettes about 1 – 5 cigarettes per day.
They were usually smoking the during toilet the factors influencing smoking was found in most cigarette brands. In addition, The high price of cigarette have a quality and good taste were signify cantly related to smoking behavior at a 0.05 level.
