Dogs and cats are pets that have many differences, including their physical features, nature and character. The first difference is dogs are pack animals to be with others, whereas the cats prefer to stay alone. Regarding how they produce the sound, the dogs bark, growl and woof. Cats just meow or purr. Another difference is dogs love to run around and they need a lot of space while the cats are independent animals, the dogs need to care for. For the nature of these pets, it can be seen that the dogs love to please their owners, the cats always love to please themselves. When compared to cats, the dogs are more affectionate. The dogs will wag their whole body and even their owners to affection, but cats will only allow their owners to scratch them behind their ears. It can be seen that the cats are lapped animals unlike dogs. For being smooched, the cats will tolerate this behavior, on the other hand, the owners will be smooched by the dogs. The last difference is when the dogs are awakening from sleeping, they will be happy to see their owners, but the cats will just sleep even if their owners try to wake them.
