These aggregates varied largely in size and density; the size and
density of the aggregates decreased as the digestion progressed.
Apart from these granular aggregates, some myofibrils presented
lysis and disorganization of the actin and myosin myofilaments,
showing some undigested collagen fibrils (all with same diameter)
with entrapped granular aggregates in the cooked meat (Fig. 2j).
