Despite the economic contributions by industries, however, research has shown their contributions to heavy metals proliferation in the environment [1]. For instance Olatunji et al. [2]described heavy metals as pollutants, which are highly toxic, persistent and non-biodegradable. Soil contaminations by heavy metalshad significantly increased due to several activities such as mining, smelting, manufacturing, gas exhaust, energy and fuel production, fertilizer and pesticide application, and municipal waste generation [3–5]. Application of untreated or raw sewage sludge as soila mendment can also contribute to heavy metal pollution in soil[6].
