In summary, a novel but facile gas carrying moisture activation
technique has been developed for successful preparation of
pore-size controllable BACFs. The increase of carbonization temperature
resulted in the increase in the graphite carbon content of
the BCF samples. This is different from the physical activation process
by steam which did not change the proportion of amorphous
carbon and graphite carbon. The specific surface areas increased
with increasing the activation temperature or the activation agent
concentration or prolonging the activation time. The specific
