The methyl ester conversion of the samples were analysed
following the EN 14103 standard method using GC-FID (Agilent
Technologies, 7890A GC System) equipped with automatic
injector, split, FID and capillary column e methylpolysiloxane
(DB-23) (60 m 0.25 mm 0.25 mm). The temperature program
employed starts at 100 C holding for 2 min, heating at 10 C/min
until 200 C, heating at 5 C/min until 240 C and holding for
7 min. Helium was used as a carrier gas at the flow rate of 4 mL/
min. The hydrogen and air were used at the flow rate of 50 mL/
min and 400 mL/min for flame. All the experiments were
repeated three times in order to determine the range and
reproducibility of the results. The properties of the purified biodiesel
were analysed according to the ASTM D 6751 and EN 14214
standards.
