Have you ever thought of a basic question such as what is hospitality industry ? There may be a variety of definition. But we may tentatively define that hospitality industry is a business to make your guests happy and pleasant with your personal service and attitude. People become happy and pleasant when their needs are met as they expect. They become unhappy and frustrated when their needs are not met by others. This seeming simple rule forms a keypoint for you to become a pleasant companion of your tourists. In this regard, an expert guide or a hotel employee is a master to handle the following two question.
1. What does your client want now ?
2. What can you do to satisfy the client’s needs now ?
Actually these two question cover essential parts of the hospitality business. But the task is not so simple as a human being has a complicated system of physical and psychological needs. A situation in which these needs are not met is called “ frustration ” by psychologists.
