Please allow me to remind everyone the rule No1 of good practice using IT within office network linked to different server:
1. When your working station is unattended for a period of time (for instance during lunch break or when someone receive a guest, etc…), DO NOT LEAVE open programs or open file on your computer!
In case of power failure or computer problem, your file may not only been lost but it can also create some problem with the data on server
This is something I have already mentioned but I can see this malpractice every day in the office.
2. Storing working data and important file on your computer desktop is a malpractice. This data are not saved and can be irremediably lost
3. Do not try to download program that are not absolutely necessary for your work. In case you have any doubt, please consult me.
4. Do not open mails or attachment on mail that you don’t identify in advance. Don’t be curious by opening an attachment. Pirates count on your curiosity and candidness to infect computer and network
5. In case some files and data are missing from the network folders. Don’t panic, they can be recovered but please inform me immediately so no time is wasted. (This happen yesterday with Bee and Kaew).
Managers, please translate this to anyone that would not understand those recommendation properly and make sure this is clear for everybody
