Shut off heating fuels of all burners with damp rags to prevent the finger from burned by hot surface.
Remove covers of all chafing dishes; turn cover down to cool hot vapours after lightning off burners and take left over food out of water pans to a proper place.

Carry the chaffing dishes with two handles and place them on the trolley and return them to dishwashing area.
