I once went into a restaurant where there was a sign out front that said please seat your self. So I did just that. Well, 10 minutes went by and not a single person came over to check on us. After 30 minutes of sitting there, we got up and left because several different workers walked by us and didn't even acknowledge us. The lesson that I took out of this was that if you have any doubt in your mind and someone looks either confused, out of place, or in need of help, to stop and drop what you're doing to help that person. Customers first, period.
