Figures 8 and 9 demonstrate the normalized cost of Fi Wi access network in uniform and random scenarios respectively, for 24 ISCWs and different split ratios of 1:32, 1:16 and 1:8. The cost of each equipment, feeder fiber, distribution fiber, and fiber trenching in our optimization method is referenced from Meanwhile, we use Euclidean distance to calculate the length of both feeder and distribution fibers in order to present the deployment of realistic Fi Wi access network [9]. We can see from Figs. 8 and 9 that both the equipment and feeder fiber cost in all of the optimized Fi Wi access network solutions is considerably lower in comparison to distribution fiber cost. At the same time, the deployment cost of FiWi access network in uniform and random scenarios is different.
