Police said yesterday that the autopsy on the three-year-old girl killed by her mother’s roommate in a Bangkok apartment on Saturday contradicted the suspect’s claim that she had suffocated the child in a toilet bowl in a fit of anger after she found that the girl had wet her bed.
Investigators said the toddler had died from severe internal injuries caused by repeated beating with a blunt object. Police at Suthisan station said they kept the woman killer under special observation as she had become more stressed on being arrested and detained in a cell.
