Ever since I bought my car with a 2000 b1 swap (car is 97 civic ex).. it's thrown a code 14. That motor blew up (long story.. not my fault) and I swapped a 93 b18a1 to replace it. I did put the manifold from the 2000 on the 93 though, because it had all of the right sensors. It still throws code 14(Idle air control valve). I took it to a honda guru friend of mine (Colt 45 on here I believe) and he switched a pin on the ecu harness from a12 to a14 or the other way around.. he said that's how it's supposed to be and I fully trust him on that.. but it still throws the code. I have 2 ecus that throw the code (obd2 p75 and obd1 p75).. so i'm 99.9% sure it's not the ecu. I, also, have 2 iacv's.. both throw the code. Continuity is good on the wire aswell.
Anyone have any ideas? Next step is to just rewire the whole damn thing to the ECU harness.
