In this paper we proposed a model for using serious games for autistic children. The model presented includes multimodal sensory acquisition of user interactions with games. Image depth, color and audio data collected are considered with potential text interaction in special situations. Microsoft Kinect for Windows is the platform used for capturing image and voice data. Identifying the goals for a game design and adaptive actions based on emotions has been discussed with examples. Including adaptive game behavior to positively influence autistic children would place the game into the therapeutic category.
