Negotiate with your assessor, a time and place, either in an actual or simulated workplace, to demonstrate these skills. Your assessor might choose to break these tasks into smaller, contextualised tasks which will map against the performance criteria.
If they choose to do this they will provide you, ahead of time, with the task list which you can use when preparing for
assessment. It can be used as a checklist during the assessment.
The assessor will also provide suitable instruction regarding participation in an observation practical assessment and the
performance standards required.
Assessor instructions
The practical assessment should cover all of the performance criteria for this study unit.
Assessor should provide adequate information about the assessment environment and the performance standards relevant to the qualification.
Assessor should provide clear advice to student for assessment regarding:
- the time and date/s for assessment
- the structure of the assessment
- the number of times performance must be observed
- the amonut of type of assistance students can expect
- the resources required
Student must finished Project to become competent in this subject.
