Shared universes are all the rage right now — we have X-Men at 20th Century Fox, DC Comics at Warner Bros., and Marvel Comics at Disney. And now it seems that Transformers is set to join the fray if you believe some very credible theories outlined in Forbes. One theory is rooted in one of Hasbro’s other action-figure franchises with a movie already planned: Rom the spaceknight. Toy fans will know that Rom is able to travel through space and is the last of a race of knights making this idea fit just a little too perfectly. Add in the fact that THR has already reported that Hasbro is planning a shared cinematic universe with Micronauts, G.I. Joe, M.A.S.K., and the Visionaries, and you’re left with one question: Why wouldn’t Hasbro add Transformers and Rom to its shared universe?
