The importance of dispersion and their effect on
mechanical properties of composites made with CNTs has been discussed
in many research works (Breton et al., 2004; Chang et al.,2005; Coleman et al., 2006; Zhang, Shen, Phang, & Liu, 2004). Due to the high surface area of CNTs, Van-der-Waals forces which exist
between the CNTs lead to the agglomeration of the nanotubes
within the polymer matrix.
