Unlike the achieved findings; in the doctorate thesis study of Coskun (2009) it has been found out that the
tendencies of the university students towards life-long learning approach are low. In a study done by Ozcan (2011),
it has been found out that the competency perceptions of primary school teachers towards the life-long learning
approach are high. Similarly, in a study conducted by Davis, Taylor & Reyes (2013), it has been found out that the
life-long learning tendencies of the nurses are positive. In a study conducted by Izci & Koc (2012), it has been found
out that the life-long learning tendencies of the teacher candidates are in positive direction.
