SLIDE 11 - HYPOTHETICAL QUESTIONS
Slide 11
These questions test for a possible reaction from the contact. When used in a calm, conciliatory tone, they can be useful questions to test what kind of response you can get from the other person, without saying anything direct or making any commitments.
EXAMPLES
1. IF WE WERE ABLE TO AGREE TO THIS, HOW LONG WOULD IT TAKE TO SET UP THE SYSTEM?
2. IF YOU WANT ME TO SEND YOU THIS INFORMATION, WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO SUBMIT THE DETAILS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE?
ACTIVITY: ASK THE CLASS TO COME UP WITH QUESTIONS THAT ARE RELATED TO THEIR WORK PLACE IN THE ABOVE FORMAT OF OPEN QUESTIONS.
