Early Friday morning in China, local smartphone maker AUO showed off a prototype of the first smartphone with a flexible display that is actually designed to flex for a reason. Well, that’s not fair; phones like the LG G Flex also flex for a reason — bendable display panels and glass make the phones more difficult to break.
But AUO wants users to bend its new phone. In fact, bending the phone is an integral part of the user experience.
