IN YOUR FACE
When you are looking at someone for the firsh time, do you think, “He looks dishonest,” or “She looks very patient?” Of course you do. We all do it. When we firsh meet someone, we usually take less than one tenth of a second to decide what we think they are like.
However, are these first impressions right? Scientists are researching the connection between someone’s face and their personality, and they think there is some truth in our firsh impressions. They say it is possible to look at a person’s face and decide, for example, if he or she is disorganized or irresponsible, kind or impatient. But nobody really knows why these connections exist.
Older people seem to have stronger connection between their faces and their personality, and the reason for this is simple. Happy and kind people smile more than sad people. Impatient people frown more than calm people. Over the years, all that smiling or frowning causes a difference in our faces. In the end, our personality shows on our faces. So keep smiling!
