The eight locations were also grouped into three clusters
based on the protein banding patterns; however, these clusters
made were different compared to the clusters based on
the morphological traits. GG and GW, GN, JN, CB and GB,
and JB and CN were each grouped into a different cluster.
Because these locations are divided by large mountain
ranges, thus acting as a barrier to migration, we suggest that
the mountain ranges in these regions affected the gene flow
of soybean germplasm.
