The presented study examined the degradation of 13 different
textile dyes in a pilot DBD plasma batch reactor.We observed that among the tested dyes, the most stable ones
appeared Lanaset Yellow and Optilan Red, based on the decolorization
measurements by UV/VIS spectroscopy. The easiest to degrade
was Astrazon Brilliant Red. Degradation of most dyes reached up to
90–99% during 600 s treatment in a batch reactor, while Lanaset
Yellow Optilan Yellow and Optilan Red dyes revealed resistance
