When we measured the trainees’ perception on quality management at Phases I, II, and III, we found that the
mean differences were significant for all cases. We found that perceived learning positively increases between Phase
I and II. However, the trend did not continue in Phase II. This clearly indicates that the organization needs to
evaluate its quality management practices on the job so as to find out what prevents successful transfer of training
for quality management among new employees. Table 2 shows the trainees’ perceptions about quality management
throughout all phases of the study.
