The Ximian edition of OpenOffice makes changes to ease Office migration, using Microsoft file formats by default and shipping Microsoft-compatible fonts. It also makes changes to improve integration with the Gnome programs Galeon and Evolution and to recognize Gnome desktop theme and font settings
