Figs. 9 and 11 show the incident global solar radiation, incident diffuse solar radiation and transmitted solar radiation
varying with time for the glass window system with blind set at slat angle of 0 and 45.
Since the building is facing west, only the diffuse solar radiation can be measured in the morning.
The direct solar radiation is incident on the glass window surface starting from the time at around 13:00.
The maximum global solar radiation occurs at the time around 15.00–16:30. The variation of the measured transmitted solar radiation with time has a similar pattern to the incident global solar radiation but having a smaller magnitude.
