We realized that routines that rely so much on the students participation, tend to work better when they are done at the beginning of the day.
Another issue we faced was to find a way to register their thinking in a meaningful way to the students (please remember our students are still not able to read).
Another situation that all of us faced was the repetition of a specific answer over and over. We understand that sometimes this allows them to develop a different Idea, by adding details to somebody’s previous answer. But some moments, our students are anxious to participate and answer anything.
