Dear Subsidiary Leaders,
Subsidiaries authorized or in the Process can ignore this mail.
For those of you that are not yet CSP 1T authorized in the local Market or haven’t started the Process yet, I ask you to execute the following below asap:
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
In July, we launched a new process through which partners can express interest in the CSP program via an information request web form at MicrosoftCSP.com. This process will help us build and track a pipeline of potential 1T CSP Partners. As field owners of the CSP Program, PB&D leads have a strong role in helping to manage these partner leads. The review process and the system behind it is designed to simplify the CSP on-boarding process for both you and your partners.
Here’s how it will work:
a. Any partner visiting www.MicrosoftCSP.com will see an option to “Become a CSP Partner.” Clicking it will take the partner to the CSP Partner Information Request form.
b. After the partner completes and submits the short web form, they will receive a confirmation message thanking them for their interest and setting an expectation that Microsoft will contact them within 10 business days or less.
c. PB&D leads will receive an e-mail with a list of leads generated in their area from the partner information request form. This e-mail (an example of which is provided below) will include an ID Link that the PB&D lead can click to indicate status as follows:
i. Decline. If declined, an auto generated “polite decline” e-mail will be sent to the partner along with list of 2T partners they can contact to pursue becoming an Indirect CSP reseller/VAR.
ii. Approve. By approving, the formal nomination process will begin.
iii. Discussing. If the local team needs additional time to make a decline or approval decision, they can mark the request as “Discussing with Partner.” This indicates that the PB&D leads are connecting with the partner to get more information and evaluate their fit for the program.
d. If no action is taken within 10 business days of the partner’s initial submission, an auto-generated e-mail will be sent to the partner confirming that Microsoft will connect with them soon, and escalation notifications will be sent to the PB&D lead.
