These results confirm the greater efficacy of C.
reticulata as a botanical acaricide, since it produced
99% R. (B.) microplus larval mortality at concentrations
(3491 ppm 0.35%) mg much lower than those
found for Eucalyptus (10% and 20%) by Chagas et al.
(2002), for S. saponaria (6360 ppm 0.63% and
3922 ppm 0.40%) by Fernandes et al. (2005, 2007).
