We have developed a prototype front-end DAQ system
and an evaluation system for user experiments at SPring-So
The prototype system is composed of FPGA, FMC, and PC
devices, and we have confirmed that it can potentially handle
bandwidths above 10 Gbps while maintaining scalability. The
results of this evaluation study demonstrated that it is possible
to construct a data stream from a sensor to PC memory using
the components as an experimental front-end DAQ. It also
satisfies the requirements of a SOPHIAS detector and a nextgeneration
2D X-ray detector that are required for SACLA
XFEL experiments.
