The spinels with A-site magnetic cations such as CO2+ , Mn2+ and Fe2+have attracted considerable attention because of their frustrated magnetic behavior . The magnetic properties of spinel oxides are determined by the distribution of cations over terrahedral and octahedral sites as well as their oxidation state: depending on that spinel oxides are in turn determined by the nature of cations as well as by the synthesis method, the annealing temperature and the cooling rate. Surprisingly limited information is available about Mn2+-MZIIIAX Spinels,MnAL2O4 is theMOst students one a number of controversial results results are reported and the properties of MnIn2O4 are addressed in only one study.
