Corn grain yields are influenced by a number of environmental factors such as growing season climate conditions, water availability and soil conditions. Soil moisture status is important in maintaining optimal corn yields, and maintaining optimal soil moisture is facilitated by irrigation (Ko and Piccinni, 2009). Yazaret al. (2002) also reported the highest average corn grain yield from the full irrigation treatment with 6-day irrigation interval.Yildirim and Kodal (1998) were stated that applications of excessive water were not increased grain yields at the important level. In study conducted on corn by Ayla (1993) in Bolu plain-Turkeyconditions, water consumption of 550 mm had 8320 kg ha−1grainyield..
